The 5 Foundations I Swear By

Hey loves! Here are some of my favorite foundations I swear by. Let me know your favorites below!

#1- Giorgi Armani Luminous Silk

Armani Luminous Silk is my holy grail of foundations. I've been using it for years and every time I deviate I always end up coming back. It blends so perfectly, it's lightweight but has medium coverage and it lasts all day. It really gives that airbrushed look. I use number 6.25. It is darker than my natural skin tone but perfect for when I use self-tanner (I use number 5.5 when I'm more pale).

#2- Giorgio Armani Maestro Glow

Since I'm obsessed with the Armani Luminous Silk I decided to try Maestro Glow this summer. During the summer I like something very lightweight with less coverage. I don't know about you but when I have more of a tan I feel like it hides blemishes/imperfections. Also in LA it's so hot in the summer so you want something very light. Maestro Glow is both nourishing and provides decent coverage. I use number 6.25.

#3- Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation

This Nars foundation is perfect for nights when you want more coverage. I don't wear it that often since it is heavier but when I'm looking for a flawless night look I'll wear it. Sometimes I will mix it with my Luminous Silk foundation when I need more coverage. It's very pigmented so you only need a small amount to apply it all over your face. I use Medium 4- Barcelona.

#4- Dior Nude Air

This Dior is another great foundation for the summer. It's lightweight, sheer and provides a beautiful glow. It also has SPF. I use number 30. While I love it, if you are deciding between this one and the Maestro Glow, I would go with the Maestro Glow.

#5- Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

I feel like this Laura Mercier is everyone's favorite tinted moisturizer. It is hydrating and blends into the skin really easily. It is perfect for during the day when you don't want the coverage of a foundation but still want a sheer hint of color. Plus it has SPF 20. I use Bisque.

Foundation Tips

I normally apply my foundation with the Morphe brush #M439. I put one pump on the back of my hand and then dab it on my chin, cheeks, nose and forehead. I spray the brush with Mac Fix Plus. I find this makes the foundation a bit more sheer and blends into the skin really easily. Then I apply my concealer (normally Urban Decay Naked) with a beauty blender. Lastly, I finish with the Armani Powder in 5.5.
