Dress Options For The Guest of a Wedding

I don't know about you but finding a dress for a wedding is hard! I have a wedding in September in Montreal and in October in Arizona. I've been looking for cute dress options and have realized how difficult it is. Firstly, you need to decide on the length of the dress (maxi, short, high low etc). Then you need to decide if you want a solid color or a print (and if you choose a color, whether it will be bright or on the darker side). Without knowing what other people will be wearing it's a difficult guessing game! The terms "cocktail attire" or "black tie" are not enough. I need to know specifics! Lastly, you need to decide on your price range. I'm hesitant to spend a lot of money on a dress because in all likelihood I won't be able to wear it very often (especially if the wedding guests overlap!).

This dress I am wearing is a perfect option. I decided to list my other favorites below xoxo

Black and White Chic

Everyone on my Instagram is obsessed with the Nordstrom sale. Literally every second post is about it! Normally I wouldn't care because I am all about the sale life, but the sale this year isn't even that great! I went with Ray this weekend and was definitely disappointed. Most of the deals I saw I could easily get year round with a decent promo code.

I had such a nice weekend. On Friday I tried a new pilates class and wow...I could not move all weekend (in the best way possible). I'm going to try it again on Wednesday. Friday night I had a girls night. We went to this newish restaurant in West Hollywood called Rosaline. The food was so good and the drinks were even more delicious. Saturday I went spinning (yes, even though I couldn't move from Pilates). Then I went with Ray to try and find new jeans for him. No luck unfortunately. Saturday night we had the best date night. We went to Il Cielo in Beverly Hills for dinner and then walked around where we used to live. Sunday we spent the entire morning in bed, watching tv and relaxing with Luca. Then we went grocery shopping and for an hour walk. It was the perfect weekend.

Now on to this look. I definitely overpacked for Montreal and Miami but I was so happy that I brought this top with me. I swear it looks and feels like a top you would find at Neiman Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue, but it only  costs around $50.

Pretty in Pink

Sorry for my absence on the blog! I posted a lot on Instagram during my vacation but decided to take a break from blogging. As you can imagine, working full time and blogging can get overwhelming at times. It was really nice to take a step back, put everything (well..almost everything) on hold and just relax.

I had the best time in Montreal and Miami. I am truly fortunate to call MTL, Miami and LA home. How many people can say that? There are definitely parts about each city that I love and miss when I'm not there. But it's so nice to be able to visit and soak up as much as I can.

Now I'm back in LA and back to my normal routine. I bought some really cute stuff while I was in Miami- can't wait to share! I also got a few new makeup products that I'll share (a mix of drugstore and brand).

I posted this look on my Instagram story when I went to an event at Paige a few weeks ago and got so many compliments. I love the fit and the pink and white stripes. I paired it with AG jeans and white heels I got from Zara that are the most uncomfortable. I would have styled it with my white Manolo Blahniks but Ray spilled beer on them the day before....DON'T ASK. But don't worry, my incredible shoe maker fixed them- aka saved my marriage...jk..not really ;) Enjoy the rest of your week! xo
